PGB Entry 5
Project Golden Bull (or PGB) began on May 5th, 2016. The main purpose of PGB is to force myself to learn how to make gold on a new server and without my team of alts who are able to craft everything. Every week I post an update on my progress.
Week 5 Accounting Summary
Week 5 Progress
Gold: 29,156g (56% Increase)
Estimated Auction Value: 107,417g (55% Increase)
Estimated Net Worth: 101,336g (11% Increase)
I gained a level! Progress, however small, is still progress, right?
Looking at the numbers it may be a little confusing. Net worth should be the highest number right? Normally it would be, yes. The only reason that it isn’t this time is because I have quite a few items listed on the Auction House for more than they are technically worth. Not a whole lot, 5% here and 10% there, but it adds up.
Blackrock Ore and True Iron Ore are my biggest earners, as usual. It seems that the rush to play Overwatch has ended and players are slowly coming back to Azeroth. Or maybe I’m just imagining things. Either way, I am finding it harder to actually find good deals on much of anything that I can sell very quickly.
I have found a few decent recpies and transmog items that I bought quickly. They move slowly, but they are working out decently for me so far. I usually make a sale or two every day at this point, and funnel that gold back into whatever I can find.
I am considering making a second character to handle all of the auctions and mail. Inventory space is becoming difficult to manage and I would rather not buy any larger bags than I already have. It might be best to create a new guild on my new character and use the space that it would provide. I’ll make my decision another time.
